
Jerry Miller
CEO
Mr. Jerry Miller has over 30 years’ experience in the maritime industry and has grown companies supporting primarily the United States Navy in shipboard repairs and maintenance. Mr. Miller is a 1977 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ocean Engineering, and served as a surface warfare officer in ships of several classes. After completing naval service in 1985, Mr. Miller joined Earl Industries as a Production Manager for ship repair and maintenance contracts and in 1989 acquired the company. Over the next 27 years, Mr. Miller grew Earl Industries into a five division, east coast, marine maintenance and repair company holding major repair contracts in virtually every navy ship class. During these years Mr. Miller also acquired, integrated, and operated companies in many various businesses and markets including information technology, data mining, defense technology systems, and commercial real estate in the Tidewater area. Over the last several years, under Mr. Miller leadership, Earl Industries, captured and successfully executed some of the Navy’s largest and most complex east coast Multi-Ship-Multi-Option (MSMO) repair and maintenance contracts for CVN and LPD17 class ships. In 2012 Mr. Miller sold Earl’s three ship repair divisions to General Dynamics and organized the remaining manufacturing and power and controls divisions into Fairlead. Mr. Miller serves as Chief Executive Officer of Fairlead.

Milo Hyde
President
Mr. Milo Hyde has over 35 years of executive level experience in the U.S. and International defense and aerospace market space. Mr. Hyde held increasingly responsible positions in several companies throughout his career in virtually every functional business area including operations, business development, program management, and engineering. As a corporate executive, he successfully led teams responsible for business growth in areas including strategy development, technology investment, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hyde has a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, an MS degree in Systems Technology from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, and a MS degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. Mr. Hyde is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association, previously serving as Chairman of the Undersea Warfare Division, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the United States Navy League, and the Surface Navy Association. Mr. Hyde is a retired Navy Surface Warfare Officer with 26 years of combined active duty and naval reserve service.

David Bruce
Director of Finance
Mr. David Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Christopher Newport University. He came to our company in 2012 at the beginning of the company’s operations, bringing with him experience in accounting, as well as financial reporting and business consulting. As the Director of Finance, David is responsible for leading the finance and IT organization, along with overseeing the finance, accounting and reporting, business systems and treasury functions.

Dan Wood
Director of Contracts
Mr. Dan Wood served in the United States Navy as a Supply Corps officer, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration & Accounting from Ohio State University, as well as an Executive MBA from the College of William & Mary. He joined our company in August 2012 and is a strategic and financial leader, with 30 years of broad operational and financial experience across diverse business markets.
He founded Continuum Management Solutions, a consulting firm which provided strategic planning, acquisition integration, business operation, and supply chain management services to the defense, manufacturing, and mobile resource management markets. He also served as President of Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, a commercial mobile satellite equipment and services provider. Prior to joining Comtech, Mr. Wood was the Director of Finance & Operations at EDO Corporation’s Systems & Analysis Group, an Aerospace and Defense company.

Stacie Bailey
Human Resources Director
Mrs. Stacie Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Radford University. She joined Fairlead in 2010 and brought with her over 13 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. She is responsible for overseeing Human Resources Administration, Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment and compensation, as well as training and Organizational Development.

Bruce Rosenbaum
Director of Supply Chain Management
Mr. Butch Rosenbaum joined our team in June 2006. He was educated at Old Dominion University in Business Administration and came to our company with an extensive background in the areas of Operations and Material Control Management. He is a subject matter expert in maintaining supply chain organization and function. Additionally, Butch has valuable experience in the area of Contract Management, particularly on large-scale contracts requiring comprehensive management and oversight.

Todd Babcock
Director of Supply Chain Management
Mr. Todd Babcock has over 30 years of ship repair experience at several Hampton Roads shipyards with positions ranging from Electrical Foreman to Ship Superintendent. Todd has been responsible for our company’s daily operations since 1998. He continues to provide exceptional leadership as FIPC has grown to become the preferred marine electrical system’s integrator in the industry. Todd continues to form the alliances and partnerships necessary to carry out the strategic initiatives that include performance and operational improvements, increased capabilities, diversification as well as our growth and business expansion initiative.

Brian Miller
General Manager
Mr. Brian Miller draws on over 30 years of experience in the Defense and Marine Ship repair and ship building business. Brian, for 20 years held numerous positions and profit center responsibilities for a major large enterprise and contributed greatly to the company’s long term success and profitability. Brian is a strong proponent of Continuous Process Improvement employing excellent organizational skills and a passion for finding the best paths to cost effective solutions. Brian’s goal is to lead FPMI on an aggressive journey to provide the very “Best Value” for the company’s customers while growing the business. He is devoted to developing new product lines in order to diversify the company and create new opportunities for FPMI’s valued employees.
